Huge Amount Of Ganja Seized From Berhampore
48 kgs of cannabis has been seized by BSF at Berhampore of Nadia district. BSF's 43 Battalion under Hugalberia Police Station recovered this huge amount of cannibals from the banana orchard of the area.
According to BSF statement, the ambush party noticed suspicious movement of 15 to 20 persons in the Indo-Bangladesh Boarder Road with their heads heavily burdened. When the BSF challenged them, they escaped to the Indian side. With the help of BSF tracker dog, the Boarder Security Force recovered 12 gunny bags which contained 48 kgs of contraband. The seized ganja has been handed over to Customs official at Jalangi.
